Meet the specialist: Paul

10XCREW is growing! And so is our team. This makes it the perfect time to start introducing our crew. Meet our Head of Content Paul Kaufman and find out what he loves about working at 10XCREW.

Introducing

“My name is Paul Kaufman, I am 33 years old and I live in Waalre. I have been working at 10XCREW for about 6 months now. Before that, I’ve worked as an SEO Teamlead at Gonect Online Marketing for three years. I joined 10XCREW because I love working in a company where I can fulfil my ambitions. I get excited by the challenge of building marketing teams, and the shift towards direct-to-consumer strategies was something new to me. The mentality of 10XCREW is also a big part of why I chose to work here. It’s a company that always wants to grow and the people are on the same level of thinking. I feel very much at home in 10XCREW’s ambitious working environment.” 

What is your role within 10XCREW? 

“As Head of Content, I coach and train my team so that they can work efficiently, work well together, and get help where needed. It’s my team’s responsibility to come up with strategies for content optimisation on different marketplaces, such as Bol.com and Amazon. Our activities are partly Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and partly Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) to improve both the visibility and conversion rate of our client’s product pages. I make sure that these tasks are handled as a team so that everyone can reach their full potential and we can make impact for our customers.”

What does a working day look like for you?

“At 10XCREW no day is the same, but some things recur on a daily or weekly basis. Every morning at 9 am we tell within the content team what’s on the agenda for the day and every week we share various client’s cases and try to learn from each other’s wins and mistakes. The rest of the day I am busy with a variety of tasks. From meetings with the management team and head ofs to set the direction of Team Content and improve work processes, to creating content strategies for clients. And from analysing data in PowerBI, to reviewing tools and processes to see if they contribute to our effectiveness and productivity.”

What do you like most about working at 10XCREW? 

“What I like most about working at 10XCREW is the atmosphere in the office, the ambition of my colleagues, and the company’s mission. People are critical, honest, and fair, which makes it easy to communicate with each other. Together, we aim to grow, both professionally and personally. This creates a really inspiring working environment for me. We like to work hard, but also have a lot of fun together.”

What is something that not many people know about you? 

 “I’ve got an MA in Philosophy and dreamt about becoming a journalist. Although I still love to write (as a hobby), I prefer to analyse data and set up strategies for our clients these days. So in the end, I’m really glad I ended up at 10XCrew, where I can share this fascination with my team members.”
